ITALIAN ETIQUETTE WITH A FASULO TWIST
In Italia, the order of the meal is very important and at Osteria Fasulo
as in Italyevery dish is ordered alla carta. That is to say, individually.
We have designed our menu to be enjoyed
as a five-course alla carta dining experience. We invite guests to sit back, relax, take time and as in Italy savor each
course that our remarkable chefs have created to make the evening extra special.
THE COURSES
Gli Antipasti
L'
Insalata or La Zuppa
I Primi
I Secondi
Dolci
Guests often begin with gli antipasti (appetizers)
to stimulate the appetite. Following a taste of antipasto guests have l'insalata or la zuppa (salad or soup) to enjoy next.
Guests then order i primi (first course) which is usually a small dish of homemade pasta or risotto, and then the
main course, i secondi la carne, il pollo o il pesce (meat, chicken or fish). Some guests prefer to have their insalata with
their secondi the Fasulos say, Va bene! (It's all good!)
Finally, Italians have loved sweets since the republic monopolized
the sugar trade a thousand years ago so it is only fitting that Italians complete their dining experience with dolci (dessert).
What's your fancy?
Panna Cotta, Crespelle, Cannoli, Gelato it's all gourmet and it's all handmade.
At
Osteria Fasulo we make sure that your dining experience is complete by always offering an amazing selection of homemade desserts
along with dessert wines and of course, espresso.
And remember, in Italy espresso is served dopo (after) guests have
finished their dessert and never a moment sooner.
Buon Appetito!
Ciao! Ciao!
